Last sunday, my parents and I decided to get away and take a short trip to the beach.  We decided to bring along our other family member (our dog) named Mandy.  Mandy is about 7 years old and is a rescue labradoodle.  It's always an adventure when we bring her somewhere.  She always sits on our laps during the car rides and once we get to the beach, she always runs as far and fast as she can.  When we arrived at a beach near Seascape resort, Mandy suddenly took off and went out of our sight.  She can run so fast and can disappear faster than my eyes can see!  My parents and I took a stroll along the beach, enjoying the sound of ocean waves and digging our feet into the sand.  We even spotted a whale and muliple dolphins in the water.  Mandy met a couple other dog friends and played fetch with them.  Walking along the beach and smelling the fresh ocean air made me stress free and forget about all the homework i was assigned.  After Mandy slowed down, we realized she was tired and we started to head back to the stair case near the parking lot.  As we were driving home on Sunday evening, Mandy and i completely passed out.  You know it's a good adventure when you pass out on the car ride home.  The trip to the beach was a perfect short trip that relieved my stress of senior year! I hope to go on more adventures like that soon.
