This past Sunday, My friend Chris and I decided we wanted to go into the Santa Cruz Mountains and just wanted to hangout. We took my car, driving through the hills and we ended at Henry Cowell Redwoods state park. We took out some snacks because we were really hungry. Chris decided he wanted to take some pictures. I had low battery so I only got to take one picture. That day it was really hot, so we decided to just stay for an hour and enjoy our time observing the redwoods. We saw plenty of
Banana slugs and we killed about five. We saw two mountain lions and cried like little babies. After we saw some of the redwoods, we decided to leave and get some Johnny Rockets.
You saw two Cougars in Henry Cowell???? I am not sure I believe you...I have been to this park many, many, many times (it is very near to where I live) and seeing TWO cats is pretty rare. Did you notify any of the rangers? Where did you park? Is this tree a redwood?
