Tonight I went to the Cow Palace for the rodeo. This is the
last rodeo before nationals in Las Vegas. The cowboys and girls come from all
over the country. Every time I go to the rodeo, I’m re-inspired. The rodeo always
makes me sure that working with animals is what I want to do with my life. I
got to see bull riders, barrel racers, and cow ropers. There was also a saddle
bred demonstration, which I didn't really care for. They are these really high
strung strange looking horses that are manipulated to move in I guess what is a
desirable way to the riders. The picture is a picture of one of the horses I work with. I'll be working with him tomorrow with my refreshed memory of the rodeo.
