Adventure #3
This past week I got to visit the American Conservatory Theater's costume shop. Right now, I'm in the middle of designing costumes for our fall play, Noises Off. While Westmont's drama department does have its own costume shop, it's nowhere near ACT's level. The ACT costume shop has an enormous range of costumes, some dating back to its establishment in 1965. A majority of the costumes are fabricated there, but they also have some authentic vintage clothing. It was amazing getting to see all those costumes, even if I didn't end up renting anything for the show. It makes me look forward to making such elaborate costumes like the ones found there. I will definitely go again when I have the chance.
