We've likely all
watched a movie based on a book. Could be we read the book and saw the movie.
Quite likely it's the case that you are very unhappy with the movie version. It
makes sense there always seems to be something missing from the movie adaption
and this can be very frustrating. Sometimes it's just that the casting is way
off from what was described or what you imagined. Anyways it is well known that
the books almost always far better than the movie version of it. However this
week I read a book based off a movie. The movie Ever After which is a version of Cinderella has been one of my all-time
favorite movies for many many years and I was thrilled when I found a book
version. It was very good and fairly close it slightly changed how the story
starts but it didn't bother me too much. Many of the lines are exactly the same
which I was very happy about. For the most part it was very close if not
exactly the same they only cut out a few important lines and parts in my
opinion. Overall it was great but of course I still like the movie a bit more.
So I'm changing the saying to the original is always better. Still it's fun to
read the books based off your favorite movie or vice versa, just to see the
characters come to life.
