For my first adventure, Gabe and I decided to go on a walk
but this wasn’t any ordinary walk. We walked with no direction and figured we’d
find a cool place unintentionally. We came upon a neighborhood that started
going uphill and just went with it. The sky was perfectly blue and the breeze
going through the trees was refreshing. We realized that the higher we got up
the hill, the more expensive the houses were. The stark contrast between the
modern houses and the beautiful foliage was pertinent. Once we reached the top
of this hill, I laid down in the middle of the street when no cars were coming.
It felt like a great accomplishment to us for finding this spot previously
unknown to us. The hill overlooked the cities of Campbell and San Jose and
surrounding areas. You could even see downtown San Jose! As we walked down, we
couldn’t stop talking about the grandeur of our adventure.
