Adventure Journal 3

1.       On Thursday I had received a text from my sister saying she got the night off of work so that she could go to graduation. Of course I jumped at the opportunity to go. My sister had struggled with school all throughout high school and still in Junior College. When she found her calling in Medical Assisting and decided to go to Heald College, I was really impressed. The ceremony was boring at times but at one point they were announcing the special awards. These were awards that only two people of the whole 1,000 people graduating got. When the presenter was describing the next person I just had a feeling it was Chelsea. When they called her name for the Academic Affairs Award, I was ecstatic. My dad even surprised me by crying. Afterwards we congratulated her and went to San Pedro Square Market in downtown San Jose.
