entry 3
This week for the first time in my football career I had to sit on the sidelines all week due to an injury. On Monday I had to go to the doctor because I had a rash type of thing on my arm, I was told that it was staph infection and that I would have to be out for a week minimiun. When I heard this news I was devistated, but I thought to myself, "think about the seniors that are out for the whole season because if injuries, you are only out for a week." Anyways I went to practice every days, just sitting on the sideline, watching and helping my backup's due their best personal jobs. At first it seeker pretty cool, I got to be apart of the team and I didn't have to do any if the conditioning, but I soon realized that it was terrible, just watching your friends play the sport you love and know that you can't be apart of it. As bad as practice was I knew game day would be worse, just watching like a spectatir even though I put in blood swear and tears into the team. The crowd was cheering and I knew that they weren't cheering for anything that I was a part of. We got the win but I knew that I was no Parr of it. It was terribl . However, I am back Noe and I am slowly going back to my normal routine and hopefully by the game this week I will be back to my starting spot.
