Adventure Journal #3

                For my third adventure, I went to cheer at the Evergreen Valley High School vs. Westmont High School away football game. I went with my two friends Ronnie and Becky, and Ronnie’s parents. When we made it to the school, I found out that the campus was quite large, and there were lots of people there. After my friends and I put our bags down on our side of the track, we stretched with the other girls, and a few began dancing to the music that was playing on the speakers. The game had started, and after a few minutes I realized that the Evergreen announcer sounded exactly like Kevin Costner! I told some of the cheerleaders this, but of course they had no idea who I was talking about. When half-time came around, the Westmont cheer team met up with the Evergreen girls on their side of the track, and together we watched the band perform. The Evergreen cheer team passed around Capri Suns, chips, and snacks for us, and after half-time we all took a picture. When my team went back to our side, our coach had some sad news for us. Our assistant coach, Jackie, was going to be moving to Tennessee and that was her last game with us. Jackie passed out cupcakes for the girls, and after the game I took a few pictures with her.
