Adventure #3
The vehicle I have been driving for the past year is a 2000 Chevrolet Suburban. It is the only vehicle I have driven. Even though it may be a little harder to drive than most cars, I still love it. However with my Mom missing work on Friday, so she wouldn't be driving her year old BMW. I decided to test my luck and see if she would let me drive it to school. I was not very hopeful that her answer was going to be yes, but to my surprise she decided to let me take it for today. The small compact German sports car was VERY different from my SUV; the steering was much more responsive, the acceleration was a lot quicker, but the most foreign aspect of her car was how much lower it is to the ground than my SUV. Despite the extremely foreign handling, I arrived to school without any incidences. However the sheer aspect of how improved the brakes and acceleration were, resulted in many head jerking stops and starts. I won't be driving the BMW any time soon, and I'm okay with that.
