September 21, my friend and I traveled down to Santana Row after making a stop at the cafe down by Mitsuwa Market. We didn't do particularly much, actually, all we did was walk around and hate ourselves for not being able to afford some pretty nice stationary in one of the many stores around. Beautiful but expensive pens are a curse I tell you. Don't walk into a store with a bunch of various pens and notebooks unless you really do have the money to buy what you want. Anyway, since we weren't doing much except for walking around, we decided to head back to my place after our feet started aching in pain from moving around pretty much all day long. Unfortunately – for my friend – our source of directions died a few minutes after we got into the car. The result? Me trying to guide us by memory, but naturally having us turn just a bit too early. As you would expect, we got lost. I had the pleasure of playing intense music to set the mood, at least up until we finally did find our way back to my home. Let it be known that for me, it was a great experience; my friend, not so great.
