On Friday October 10, I went to Now & Forever Studios in Los Gatos; my friend Dan came with me to take my senior portraits. My photographer was really funny and made me laugh a lot. I guess that was good and bad at the same time because he made me get my natural smile out but my natural smile I would say is sort of awkward. When it was time to pick which photo I wanted to be in the yearbook, it took me at least 30 minutes to pick because I'm so indecisive. My friend Dan helped me pick as well but we disagreed on almost everything which made the process longer.
So after I picked my senior portrait we went into another room to take cap & gown photos. My photographer made me do numerous poses and by the time we were done I asked if I can do a couple of my own poses. The whole process took about an hour, so Dan and I went to downtown Los Gatos to try out this new tea place called Sips & Sweets Too. I was pretty disappointed with the tea...so afterwards Dan dropped me off at home.
On Saturday October 11, I went with my friends to Great America for Halloween Haunt. My favorite part about Halloween Haunt are the walk-through mazes but since there were so many people, the lines were so long that it took almost an hour to get into each maze. The first maze we went into was CornStalkers which was a corn maze with scarecrows. The whole point about walk-through mazes is to walk through the maze and the workers wear scary costumes and pop out at you; I don't do very well with pop-outs so I was pretty scared. BUT one of the workers that scared me gave me a very warm starburst...which kind of made it better? After that we waited in line to ride the Demon which took about an hour as well, and by the time it was our turn to ride, the roller coaster breaks down! We had to wait an additional 20 minutes to ride. I honestly don't think it was worth the wait. Since each line's wait was an hour and the park closed at 12:30 we only got in about 4 mazes and 1 ride. I was pretty disappointed because we didn't have enough time to goto the other side of the park. After we left the park I spent a lovely 15 minutes at Grayson's house and headed home. Overall Halloween Haunt was really fun and I would definitely go again.
