September 28, I went to my first Fall Leadership Conference where i met a lot of people and had a great time. At the conference there was 4,900 students from all around the Bay Area. After everyone piled into Independence's large gym Rotary speakers talked about the community plan and the global plan to help out people in need. This year it is our plan to raise 90,000 dollars in our community to help build houses for people in Africa. Also our community plan is to help provide education and food for kids in our local area. After the presentation we separated into groups and played team building exercises. After playing three games we had lunch which consisted of a subway sandwich and chips. After lunch we went back to the gym to listen to some more words and then we were done. This experience was great because i was inspired by all the people who want to help people in our community and in the world. The Fall Leadership Conference was a very moving experience.
